I decided not to run any classes at The Foodie Kitchen during Ramadan and chose to limit work time so I could immerse myself in the spiritual growth and blessings of the holy month which I am truly grateful for. I have experienced and seen a real sense of solidarity in the mosque and community with both Muslims and non-Muslims fasting, holding iftars, and praying for peace for all inshallah.
Today happens to be 6 months since I delivered my first class so I have taken some time to reflect upon and summarise the journey my new venture has taken me on so far...
